Haven't you wanted to take a non-Western golfing buddy to an Open Day to enjoy a course he or she hadn't played before? As a member of the WGAWP you are also a member of the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association and can participate in WPGA Play Days.
Open to all WPGA Members, Play Days allow members and friends, men and women, to experience and explore area clubs that are affiliated with the WPGA in a relaxed, enjoyable and non-competitive environment. The 2018 WPGA Play Day schedule features fifteen days of golf at thirteen different private courses throughout Western Pennsylvania.
These events offer a no-pressure and fun golf atmosphere in which players can choose the time they would like to play and the teeing grounds they would like to play from. This is a great opportunity to entertain clients or get your regular group together to play a quality golf course at a great price.
Players must register online. An account will be needed to register. Once registered in a WPGA Play Day, players will select a tee time by contacting the host club golf shop no sooner than two weeks in advance. Payment of $45* per player will be made the day of the scheduled round at the host club. Payment options include cash, check, or credit card. Please inquire with the host site upon arranging your tee time.
WPGA Play Days offer members the opportunity to bring a group of players, large or small, or come individually and meet other WPGA Members. The Association's goal is to provide opportunities for members of all skill levels to enjoy a round of golf at another club that they may not typically have access too.
