Online registration for tournaments and "A" Open Days is now available and it couldn't be easier!

Terry Teasdale, Handicap Director of the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association (WPGA) was on hand at the general session of the annual Spring meeting to explain the process and answer questions.  The Tournament Pairing Program (TPP) accepts entries, generates email notifications and confirmations, makes pairings and assigns tee times.

Locate the registration tab on the top or side navigation bars of the WGAWP website to get started.  Login using your GHIN number for both name and password.   Change your password, should you desire,by editting your profile.  If you are not sure about your GHIN number, click the lookup help to receive an email with your login information.

The schedule grid contains ALL events and "A" Open Days.  If an event is available for registration, a check box in the left margin is present.  Sign up for a singular event or multiple events as long as the entry window is open.  Upon deadline, the portal closes. (late registrations, if accepted, should be directed to Mary Beth Morrissey, assistant tournament director)  Register for selected events after agreeing to the terms and policies of the WGAWP.  Complete the application with the names of players (click "add" to select names; you do not need to know players' GHIN numbers).

An email will be generated indicating that your request was recieved.  If you, your team or your foursome are accepted into the field, a confirmation email will then be sent. Check the "Events Registered For" tab to view all of the events for which registration has been made.

Entries may be sent until the deadline stated on the schedule.  On the Wednesday prior to the event, return to the tournament page to view an alphabetical listing of all players in the field and tee/tee time assignments.  For events with handicap restrictions, players will be admitted to the field based on their handicap on the day of the event, NOT the handicap when registration occurred. Cancellations and changes to teams or foursomes can also be made using the link on the schedule grid for that particular event.
