Womens Golf Association of Western Pennsylvania

Thirteen members of the Women's Golf Association of Western Pennsylvania took advantage of an opportunity to attend a USGA/PGA workshop on the rules of golf in Cranberry last month.  Led by instructors David Staebler (USGA) and Chip Essig (PGA), the ladies reviewed the thirty-four rules of golf, practiced making decisions  and took an optional exam at the end of the three days of presentation.  

Whether the intent of the participants was to save some strokes from their game, become an official, challenge their personal knowledge or simply be able to answer rules questions from friends and golf partners, everyone could agree that you're never done learning!
