Womens Golf Association of Western Pennsylvania

ELIGIBILITY - A WGAWP member must be a member in good standing at a member club who holds a full golfing membership without restrictions as to the number of times you may play and requiring payment of any green fee.

Anyone who meets the eligibility stated above may apply for membership by requesting her club WGAWP Handicap Chairman to submit a membership form selecting ten (10) attested scores of her most recent twenty (20) eighteen (18) hole scores, the dates, and the clubs played.  The ten (10) attested scores must be from WGAWP courses and must have been played during our ACTIVE PERIOD (April 1 to October 31).   Combined nine (9) hole scores WILL NOT be admissable for new membership into the WGAWP.  THE HANDICAP INDEX FOR MEMBERSHIP MUST BE 19.4 OR LESS.

New membership applications and the fee of $100.00 are accepted between January 1 and October 31.  Upon completing the application, the Handicap Chair mails the application and a check for $100 made payable to the WGAWP to WGAWP; P.O. Box 161; Sewickley, PA 15143.

Any new application for membership must be received via mail by the WGAWP at least five (5) working days preceding the registration deadline for the tournament or event in which the player expects to participate.
