The recent changes to the Rules of Golf will now govern all competitions in Western.  We are committed to helping our membership understand these changes and provide opportunities have your questions answered:

Rules seminars (both afternoon and evening options) are being offered throughout our region at a club close to you.   Please reference the news item on the home page for a complete schedule of locations and information about registration through the West Penn Golf Association portal.

Print versions of the rules including the official book, a "user-friendly" book and the interpretations to the rules of golf (formerly known as the Decisions Book) are available to purchase through the USGA:  http://www.usgapublications.com

If you have an iOS device, consider installing the USGA's FREE official Rules of Golf app.  Included is the Player's Edition (a shortened version of the Rules written specifically for golfers), and the Full Rules and the Official Guide (designed for referees and tournament administrators) and are available after enabling Expert Mode within app Settings).  This app also includes videos that explain all of the major rules changes, practice quizzes, an easy "search" feature and even phone/email links to the USGA to have your questions answered!  https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-official-rules-of-golf/id347349889?mt=8
